15th February, 2004. 11:24 am. My insane world .. . . . .

Well, been busy this past week. Had a day at Como on Wednesday where I was assessed as a guide and I passed!!! Was very happy. Como is a new place I started volunteering at in November, It's a 19th Century house that was occupied by the one family for 95 years. It's very nice and feels homely. You almost feel as if you know the family.
Thursday I was at my University's Orientation Day where I learnt all about Uni and had tours of the campus, etc. I start Uni tomorrow. This is the first year of my Bachelor of Arts after I dropped out of my accounting degree last year. I've also changed Uni's.
Yesterday I went to a family Birthday get together and today I'm relaxing as its too hot to do anything.
Hope to chat to some of you at the Board!!

Good to see you all mention how much you miss me in every post!!

I've been job-hunting like crazy and generally panicing about the money side of things. Also got hooked on a new series of Books by an Aussie author. Fantasy/Sci Fi - Tremendous!!!!

I can't believe I have been chatting almost all day. I feel so lazy but it was soo much fun. And I've also figured out the time difference between me and my Schleamon. 15 hours. That same day, owk (Phil Hartman) keeps accidentally stepping on schleamon (Kyle Chandler)'s foot. Later, plaidwater (W.C. Fields) and stradd (Cesar Romero) find a lost hamster at a diner. That weekend, aleathiel (Neve Campbell) breaks spike_phoenix (Jaime Pressly)'s old 100-meter-dash record, but nobody sees it happen. Hilarity ensues.

Haven't really done anythign that exciting this week but last weekend I went To a Railway Swap meet where lots of Railway related books and things are sold and found a rare book I've been looking for selling cheap - I bought it. After that Matt and I went to Como House which is a mansion built in the 1850's - which is quite old for Melbourne, and had a tour and have since become very interested in volunteering at places like that. I love History and learning about old families and traditions is fascinating. I can't believe the mother in this house had 10 kids over 17 years!!! Amazing.

I'm going to be firing at Puffing Billy this weekend - first time since April. I'm really nervous but looking forward to it. I'll let everyone know how I go after, heehee.

Had good news, I can go back to working at the railway as my antidepressents aren't on the list of banned drugs *huggles herself*

Got to get rid of my bad rep tho, They hang you if you make one mistake!!! Unbelieveable
Had a fantastic day yesterday!! Went to the city with my friend Terry and we went on a walk around Melbourne and it was great, except when I got terribly sick at the end. Thought I was gonna have to spend the night in the Museum!!

Not much else to say, AH, Loff ya Lea!!! You are funny and a great person to chat to - Loff ya heaps hun!! And what's more she adores Phantom of the Opera too!! heehee

Feeling happier today, gotta love psychologists, they make you feel great about yourself!! Even you start to believe it after awhile.
